Tell us about yourself?

I'm a simple guy that enjoys a good laugh and a good tune. I grew up in southeastern Wisconsin (where corn grows) and recently moved to the Twin Cities. You can usually find me listening to an abundant amount of music, jogging, and laughing. I just recently noticed how awesome the Discovery channel is, Time Warp, Mythbusters, Survivor Man, these are all shows I could watch for hours. As for music, I’m all over the map, but artists that continue to win me over are The Mars Volta, Radiohead, Cloud Cult, My Morning Jacket and MF Doom.

What's your background?

I'm pretty much straight out of college, with my degree in Video and Motion Graphics. Prior to this I worked in Television News as an Editor and Floor Director. Other than that, I’ve done some freelancing and interning.

What inspires you?

Music, Art, Nature, Friends and Family

What's it like working at DWS?

Working at Dreamworld is defiantly an experience. I remember my first day thinking, this can't be right, people working and having fun? I didn't think it existed. Yes, I do realize how corny that sounds, but it’s the truth. There is plenty of laughter, outrageous comments, inside jokes, knowledge and talent here. It’s awesome.

Has this job affected your skills?

Yes it has, and it still continues to.

Why is your job so interesting?

I think the question you should ask yourself, is why is your job so uninteresting?

What personal and work characteristics are important to have with your job?

Attention to detail, and communication

What's the best thing about working at DWS?

The laughter, the work, and the people

What is a typical work day like for you?

For the most part I edit videos and help out with whatever else pops up.

How important is it to be multi-skilled, for example to know the programming as well as the design?

It’s very important, because then you have an understanding of a project through and through.

What are your future goals?

Better myself in my field, listen to more music, eat good food, and get in touch with nature more, because I tend to be a slave to technology.

What's your dream project?

My dream project changes every month, but to sum it up, anything that is experimental and involves multiple forms of art.
