Tell us about yourself?

I am very outgoing and like to meet new people. I grew up in the Chicagoland area. The best part of my adulthood has been becoming a mother to my daughter.

What's your background?

I have been in marketing since graduating from college. I started as a marketing specialist, to a marketing manager to a marketing director before moving into my current producer (sales) position. I have been doing this for about 10 years and I love my profession.

What inspires you?

Success inspires me and feeling good about what your doing no matter what area in your life, personal or business. I like to feel good about what I am doing and the decisions I make and that inspires me. People with a positive outlook on life and optimistic people inspire me.

What's it like working at DWS?

Fantastic!!! This is the first company that I have worked at that I honestly feel they care about you..both personally and professionally. The owners really care about you and the business and do just as much work as we do. There are a lot of talented, creative people in the company that are fun to work with. It is always a good time no matter what we are doing.

Has this job affected your skills?

Yes, I have branched out into another area, sales, that I don't think I would have without the opportunity. .I would have stayed in marketing (which I do love) but this has given me the opportunity to learn something else on the opposite side of the business.

Why is your job so interesting?

It is interesting because I am working with a lot of different personalities and creativity.

What personal and work characteristics are important to have with your job?

Teamwork and accountability are very important. Also the ability to accept constructive criticism because you can't better yourself without being able to accept that.

What's the best thing about working at DWS?

Working with the people and the owners.

What's a typical work day like for you?

Following up with clients and making sure they are taken care of. Calling new clients and trying to tell them why DreamWorld Studios is the BEST company!

How important is it to be multi-skilled, for example to know the programming as well as the design?

Hmm. I'll get back to this one...

What are your future goals?

Personally… being the best wife, mother, daughter, friend, and person I can be and adding to my family. Professionally… keep learning and not to be afraid to try new adventures.
