Dreamworld enters "Slipping Away" in the 24 Hour Film Race

The 24 Hour Film Fest recently came through Minneapolis, so of course DreamWorld was ready to represent!  And so we did. (Vote for us for Top Film in Minneapolis).  Nick told us that his grandparents still owned an old barn out in Medina.  What he didn’t tell us was that this dilapidated barn had been decaying for about 30 years, so it was perfect for a good ol’ fashion horror flick!
Let’s make it red!

About the Competition

In each city, teams receive a theme and surprise element assignment for their films via e-mail at 10PM on a Friday night.  Examples of past themes are "Revenge", "Bad Advice" and "Spare Change".  The plot of the film must revolve around the theme.  The surprise element can be a prop (ex. toothbrush) or an action which must be performed in the film (ex. a slap).

The filmmakers have just 24 hours to write, shoot, edit and score an original film no longer than 4 minutes (including credits) based on their theme and surprise element assignment.  The films are due back at the film dropoff location by 10PM on Saturday night and all the films are screened for the public at a local theater a few days later.  After the screenings, the top films from each city are streamed for all to see on filmracing.com

The required elements for this competition was:”

Theme: “Saving”
Action: “Knocking on a door
